Mothman ’66 — A Joey Madia Escape Room Experience — has three unique rooms to make you feel as if you’re time-traveling to 1966 Point Pleasant.
As a new recruit of the Water Panther Paranormal research group, you’re in a race against the clock to find the clues and unlock the secret that will set one of your members free, who was last seen pursuing a lead in the infamous TNT Area and is believed to have been abducted by the Men in Black!
We have taken realism to a new level compared to other escape rooms utilizing authentic props, design, and decor. Often, objects you encounter in our escape rooms are period pieces, time-appropriate to the theme, or high-quality props and puzzles custom built for us.

We are big escape room enthusiasts and this was easily in our top 5. Great story, cohesive. A lot of time and thought was put into this room. Loved the aesthetic. Very nice and interactive staff. Wish they had more rooms! 10/10.

Great escape room that has some innovative features you wont find anywhere else. The experience may seem cheesy at first but once you get going, you really see how well the owners used the limited space that was available. If you come to point pleasant for mothman, this is a must.

Great escape room! We felt like we were part of the story. The staff was excellent, and the puzzles were fun and challenging enough to make us race against the clock. I highly recommend this escape room. It’s well worth the money and truly an unforgettable experience.

Mothman ‘66 Escape Room — A Must-Do in Point Pleasant!
Mothman ‘66 was one of the best escape room experiences I’ve had. The storyline was well thought out and flowed seamlessly across multiple rooms, with clues that connected in clever, satisfying ways. The setup was solid—challenging without being frustrating, and the clues made sense once you found them. No abstract leaps or impossible logic here.
I especially appreciated the presence of a few red herrings to keep things interesting without slowing us down too much. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful—engaged, supportive, and clearly passionate about what they do.
If you’re in the area, this room is absolutely worth your time. Great for all experience levels, and a lot of fun to work through as a team!

We had so much fun experiencing the Mothman ‘66 Escape Room. It was challenging, yet even our younger kids (years 8-10) enjoyed it.
The staff is top notch.

This escape room was excellent- not too easy and not too hard, with just the right amount of deep Mothman lore. But none of the escaping/solving required Mothman knowledge (it’s just a great theme for the immersive experience), so you can bring your ignorant friends who never heard of Mothman and they’ll have fun too. We beat it with only 12 seconds to spare, which was very exciting.

Hands down best escape room I have ever been to. And I love escape rooms. The staff made all the difference. the room was set up perfect. clues & puzzle were like level 7! fantastic! you got to go and when you do don’t forget to look at the “shiny hiney” !

Very well done escape room. Puzzles require thinking and searching the room, and the props are good quality.

We had so much fun! The hints were challenging while still making sense. The experience was very interactive and had some types of puzzles we hadn’t experienced before. The room incorporated some great parts of the Mothman story that any fan will recognize. Awesome work to everyone involved in putting this endeavor together! A must-try for any Moth-fan.

The staff was very nice and helpful, and explained everything well.

I visited yesterday with my friend and her family. This was my first ever experience doing an escape room. The escape room was very fun. They have easy, about medium, and hard for the difficulty. The service was so nice and understanding. If you have kids and wanna know if its scary or anything I wouldn’t say so, I think there was about two parts where I jumped! I highly recommend going here if you’re looking for an escape room to go to either with your friends or family.
